Mr. Lohman is an independent international lawyer educated in the United States, Europe and the Gulf with sensitivity to Common, Civil and Sharia legal systems. He established Law Firm Lohman in 1996 as a full service Geneva based firm and member of a network of prestigious independent law firms throughout the world.

 

Mr. Lohman focuses on international commercial, estate, succession, asset protection, litigation, mediation, arbitration and real estate planning as well as the international legal and regulatory financial service sector. His role is to avoid risk, capture opportunity and assemble and manage the right team of professionals (including local lawyers, bankers, accountants, auditors, trustees, fiduciaries, experts, etc.) to do the same. He otherwise mitigates the perils and pitfalls of working in diverse regions  which have important legal, regulatory, cultural and ethical diversity.

 

Mr. Lohman is a member of the Oregon Bar, USA (since 1984), Geneva Bar, Switzerland - as a foreign lawyer (since 1991) and with the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts, United Arab Emirates (since 2008).

Samuel is Chairman of GMT Captial SA, a Geneva based  an added value financial service provider offering asset advisors / discretionary managment and corporate, investment, family and other related serivices to a select group of international clients. He is also managing director of GMT Business Consultants DMCC, a Dubai based licensed family office provider.
